The History of Thieves Oil
Thieves oil became famous at the height of the Bubonic plague sweeping across Europe and Asia. Four thieves were caught robbing the possessions of the infected dead, but yet never caught the plague themselves. People were stunned that these thieves were able to touch the bodies and remain healthy, as the plague was highly contagious. They were finally caught and the judge said he would let them go if they told him the recipe of this blend. They agreed, and from what we gather. they still got punished for their crimes.
