St John's Wort Pure Oil is a member of the Hypericaceae family. This oil has a sweet, grassy aroma with floral notes. It is classed as a middle note and blends well with earthy, minty and woodsy oils.
St John's Wort calms inflamed skin concerns, alleviates nerve pain and aids wound healing. As many ailments involving nerve pain are not easily treated allopathically, St John's Wort may be of possible use.
Anti-inflammatory, astringent, vulnerary, nervine, antimicrobial, antidepressant, it is increasingly recommended for the treatment of depression. In addition, neuralgic pain, fibrositis, sciatica, and rheumatic pain. Externally, it is used as a valuable healing and anti-inflammatory agent. Furthermore, it's especially useful for healing sunburn.
History: The genus name Hypericum is from Greek and means over an apparition as the herb was once considered odiferous enough to cause evil spirits to depart. The name Saint John's Wort is said to be in honour of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem who used this herb to treat battlefield wounds.

Infused Blends help reach larger surface areas without compromising much on the potency of your oil. These have roller tops and can be easily applied on pulse points, back of the neck (largest pores), soles of the feet (largest pores) and problem areas. As we apply our blend in through the largest pores, it is said that it enters the bloodstream in as little as a few minutes.
Infused blends are very effective with this application as we are optimising the ability to harmonise a symptom. Science states three times a day is sufficient, any more is placebo – which as we know has its own magnificent effects also!
