This oil has been cherished for centuries in various cultures for its unique and complex scent profile, which is both grounding and captivating. Here is a detailed description of its aroma:
Aroma Profile:
- Top Notes:
- Herbaceous and Fresh: The initial impression of patchouli essential oil is slightly herbaceous, with a fresh, green quality. This aspect of the aroma provides a crisp, clean start, reminiscent of crushed patchouli leaves.
- Lightly Spicy: There is a faint spicy note that accompanies the herbaceous freshness, adding a subtle warmth and complexity to the initial scent.
- Middle Notes:
- Rich and Earthy: As the top notes settle, the aroma transitions to its core character—deeply rich and earthy. This earthy quality is akin to damp soil or a forest floor, evoking a sense of nature and grounding.
- Musky and Woody: The middle notes also reveal a musky and woody undertone. This musky aspect is slightly sweet and resinous, contributing to the oil's depth and intensity.
- Base Notes:
- Sweet and Balsamic: The base notes of patchouli essential oil are sweet and balsamic, providing a smooth and comforting finish to the scent. This sweetness is not overpowering but rather subtle, blending seamlessly with the earthy and woody elements.

- Rustic Cabin: The scent can also be likened to a rustic wooden cabin, with the aroma of aged wood, dried herbs, and a hint of sweet resin creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Oriental Spice Market: The lightly spicy and exotic sweet notes are reminiscent of an oriental spice market, where various spices, resins, and herbs blend to create a rich and captivating fragrance.

Close lid tightly during uses. If you are using your product with the pipette on frequent usage, ensure the pipette is empty when placing back into your product. It is best to store your pipette separately if not in frequent use. This will prevent your pipette from degenerating and your oil evaporating. It is advisable to patch test product before use.
