Pine Sylvestris Oil is a member of the Pinaceae family. This oil has a strong, dry-balsamic, turpentine-like aroma and is classed as a middle note. Pine blends well with camphoraceous, citrus, earthy, floral, herby, minty, spicy and woodsy oils.
Pine Sylvestris contains antimicrobial, antiseptic, detoxifying and antiviral properties. It is excellent for cleansing the home of bacteria, purifying the air, treating muscle aches and pain and energising and lifting your mood and focus.
Common Uses: Pine Essential Oil is viewed as an analgesic, antibacterial, antibiotic, antifungal, antiseptic and as an antiviral. Aromatherapists credit its use for arthritis, asthma, bladder infections, catarrh, cholagogue, as a circulatory agent, for colds, convalescence, coughs, cuts, cystitis, as a decongestant and deodorant, and for detoxifying, disinfecting, and acting as a diuretic. It has also been applied to eczema, those with laryngitis, lice, muscular aches, neuralgia, psoriasis, rheumatism, ringworm, scrapes, and sinusitis. It's versatility is well documented.
History: It was used by the Native Americans to prevent scurvy and the needles were used to stuff mattresses and to repel lice and fleas. The ancient Egyptians used the pine kernels in their cooking.

About this oil
Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing. Before using any topical product for the first time, it is advisable to do a patch test. It is not recommended to use pure oils on the skin without diluting. Never use internally. Keep away from children and eyes. Always check if there are any medical issues which could cause a problem. Seek help if you have any doubts.
Directions for use
Dilute with carrier oil for sensitive skin and for children over six years of age. Apply to temples, tip of nose, reflex points, soles of feet, back of neck and / or area of concern. Diffuse or inhale the aroma directly.
